Two bodies found in Kappalacheruvu

HYDERABAD: Highly decomposed bodies of two men surfaced in the waters of Kappalacheruvu tank in Nandanavanam Colony of L.B. Nagar on Wednesday.

Police said they could not make out if the victims, believed to be in their early 30s, were killed or died after drowning. One of them was clad in a brown shirt and a pair of black trousers.

Locals noticed the bodies in the evening and alerted the local police. They could pull out one body lying close to the bank. Efforts were on to retrieve the second one that was floating on the water in the centre of the tank when reports last came in.

In another case the body of a 46-year-old man was found in Divya Lodge at Saroornagar on Wednesday morning. The victim was identified as M. Ramaswamy of Kothagudem in Khammam district. He was staying in the lodge since February 17. The body was preserved at OGH.
