Sensitisation programme

KRISHNAGIRI: A one-day sensitisation programme on how to implement the Anaithu Grama Anna Marumalarchi Thittam (AGAMT) scheme in the villages for the panchayat presidents, vice presidents, panchayat assistants, welfare assistants, rural development and panchayat raj officials were conducted at the collectorate here on Thursday.

Additional Collctor Darez Ahamad presided over the programme and explained the guidelines about implementation of the programmes.

About 67 panchayat presidents, vice presidents and other officials participated in the programme, says a release from the Additional Collector.
