Corrections and Clarifications

The caption of a standalone photograph titled "Red hot" (Visakhapatnam, March 1, 2009) was "Season's Special: In full bloom and heralding summer, the flame of the forest attracts starlings in Visakhapatnam." The single bird seen in the picture was a Brahminy or Blackheaded Myna (Sturnus pagodarum). (Starlings, especially Asian species, and particularly the larger ones, are called mynas.)
