Murdered

A 22-year-old man was murdered by his friends on Sunday evening, following a quarrel among them. Kodungaiyur police said the deceased was Munisamy of Sivakami Ammaiyar Colony in Vysarpadi who was hacked to death by five of his friends at Nehru Nagar in Kodungaiyur. “The victim is known to have had a tiff with one of the accused who on Sunday gathered the rest of friends and decided to commit the murder. They invited the victim for a party and murdered him when he was in an inebriated state,” said P. Stephen, Inspector of Police, Kodungaiyur.
