Retired State staff seek DA hike

TIRUPATI: The AP State Retired Employees Association on Monday demanded that the State government extend to all its in-service and retired employees 6 per cent DA hike announced recently by the Central government to all its employees and pensioners.
Chittoor district unit of the association, at its meeting held here with its president, V. Jayarama Naidu in the chair, discussed the problems of the retired employeesand adopted resolutions seeking government response.
Bhaskar Reddy, State joint secretary demanded that the State implement immediately the lower court order vis a vis payment of arrears.
