Lok Sabha prorogued

NEW DELHI: President Pratibha Patil on Monday prorogued the 15th session of the 14th Lok Sabha.

This formally concludes the session that began on February 12 and ended on February 26.

With the 2009 Lok Sabha election timetable announced on Monday and the results expected on May 16, the 15th Lok Sabha can be expected to be constituted by May end when the life of the current Lok Sabha will come to an end.
