50 laptops stolen from two shops

HYDERABAD: Burglars stole 50 laptops from two shops located on the ground-floor of Raja Deen Dayal complex on S.D. road in Secunderabad after breaking the central locks of the shutters on Sunday night.

The offenders lifted the shutters creating space enough for a lean man to crawl inside the shops, Mahankali ACP Yadagiri said. Surprisingly, they took away even adaptors and batteries used in the laptops. Owners of the ‘Brahmand’ and ‘V.J. Infobusiness’ shops told the police that they locked the shutters as usual on Saturday night. Police suspect same persons could be behind the two offences and burgled the shops on the night of either Saturday or Sunday. The shop owners approached the police on Monday on seeing the damaged shutters.
