House burgled in Miyapur

HYDERABAD: Burglars took away gold jewellery weighing nearly 200 grams from a house after sneaking inside by bending iron grills of the bedroom window at B.K. Enclave in Miyapur, the police said on Monday.

The house owner, Sheshagiri Rao, along with his family members, went out to attend a function on Sunday morning and returned in the night. They found the jewellery stolen from the unlocked almirah.

Miyapur SI, Khaja Moinuddin, told reporters that the burglars used a crowbar left by Rao’s family members on the house premises to bend the window grills.
