TIRUCHI: The district unit of Janata Dal (Secular) has appealed to the Corporation authorities to create basic amenities at the Chathiram bus stand in the city. A resolution adopted at the party’s urban district functionaries meeting held at Milaguparai here recently appealed to the civic body to provide bus shelter with chairs, drinking water and other basic facilities at the Chathiram bus stand. By another resolution it urged the district administration to check what it claimed sale of kerosene in black market in the city. The meeting was presided over by the party’s vice president Santhanam in which the party’s State general secretary John Kumar participated.
