Assumes charge

Tirupur: K.V.Muralidharan assumed office as the first District Revenue Officer (DRO) of the newly formed Tirupur district here on Monday. A native of Chennai, he joined the revenue service as Deputy Collector in 2005. He had served as Deputy Collector (under training) in Salem, Revenue Divisional Officer at Salem, Chengalpet and Thiruthani, and Assistant Commissioner (documentation and media relations) in Department of revenue administration, disaster management and mitigation, prior to the appointment as DRO.
