Railway issues discussed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Improvements in passenger amenities and catering facilities, additional stoppages and introduction of new trains came up for discussion at the first meeting of the newly constituted Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee held here on Tuesday.

The Divisional Railway Manager, Thiruvananthapuram, Titus P. Koshy, who is also the chairman of the committee, presided over the meeting.

Sajan Francis from Changanacherry was elected as the member of the Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee. The various issues related to the day to day working of railways also came up for discussion. Senior Public Relations Officer,

P. Naryanan welcomed the gathering .

The Divisional Commercial Manager, M. Velayudhan proposed the vote of thanks.
