Parties urged to field ‘clean’ candidates

Hyderabad: Election Watch, a voluntary organisation, on Tuesday called upon different political parties not to encourage people with criminal background and adhere to Election Commission of India norms in the ensuing elections.

The organisation members inspected different localities from Begumpet to Prasad’s Imax to bring to light various violations, including defacement of private and public properties, setting up of hoardings and cut-outs by political parties.
