Ravichandran scalps six
CHENNAI: N. Ravichandran’s six for 77 enabled Palavanthangal script a five-wicket win over Royal Gems in a second division match of the TNCA-Kancheepuram DCA cricket league held here recently.
The scores:
I division: Krishnaraj 206 for eight in 45 overs (M. Vignesh 57, K. Manohar 57, S. Senthil four for 33) los to Kattankulathur 207 for nine in 44.2 overs (S. Jayesh 40, G. Umapathy four for 70).
Gurunanak Combines 108 in 27.1 overs (Bharat Ram five for 48, Raja four for 29) lost to Friends XI (Tbm) 109 for three in 20.1 overs.
II division: Syndicate Bank 92 for eight in 30 overs lost to Venugopal Club 93 for three in 12.3 overs.
Palavanthangal 170 for six in 22 overs (N. Satheesh 61) bt Rane-Engine Valves 153 for seven in 27 overs (N. Ravichandran five for 72).
Royal Gems 167 for seven in 30 overs (K. Arjunan 66 not out, N. Ravichandran six for 77) lost to Palavanghangal 168 for five in 24.1 overs (V. Sathyaseelan 51 not out, K. Arnold four for 43).
Asian SC 184 for eight in 30 overs (Moshin Basha 44, Ramanathan five for 34) bt Blue Bird 109 in 25.3 overs (Vishnu Varadha Reddy five for 29).
