VIJAYAWADA: VVKRM XI defeated Gudivada’s Shining Stars CC by four wickets in the Krishna District Cricket Association Power League for Katragadda Madhusudhana Rao Memorial Trophy here on Tuesday. The scores: Shining Stars 180 in 32.4 overs (Rajesh 59, V. Laxmam four for 25) lost to VVKRM XI 181 for six in 18.1 overs. NSMPS posts wins NSM Public School defeated Sri Gowtham by seven wickets and later beat Sri Satyabhama by eight wickets in the Krishna District Cricket Association inter-schools tournament for Nori Sivaramakrishna Memorial Trophy here on Tuesday. The scores: Sri Gowtham 45 in 16.3 overs (Joy Darshan six for 12) lost to NSM PS 46 for three in 7.3 overs. Flora PS 112 in 27.3 overs (K. Bhima Rao 45, K. Chaitanya five for 26) lost to Sri Chaitayna 113 for eight in 28.4 overs (K. Bhima Rao three for 13, Avinash three for 22).
