Award for former RBI Governor

ELURU: Former RBI Governor C. Rangarajan will arrive here on March 8 to receive the Gupta Award-2008, according to M.M. Gupta, who instituted the award.

The award will be presented Dr. Rangarajan under the aegis of the Gupta Foundation for being an architect of the financial sector reforms in the country. The other recipient of the award will be writer Chekuri Rama Rao for his contribution to the field of Telugu literature.
