Eveready gets bullish on expansion

KOCHI: Eveready has announced its foray into the space of power sources and lighting catering to the evolving needs of the urban and rural consumers. Partha Biswas, senior general manager (batteries and flashlight business) of Eveready told reporters here the company has launched ‘Ultima’ batteries based on alkaline technology suited for the high-end power hungry gadgets like digital cameras, MP3 players and high-end toys. It has also launched a range of rechargeable batteries.
