Women voters outnumber men

SANGAREDDY: Its gender superiority. Usually, male try to dominate women and its taking place since long.
For a change, this time in Medak district women voters are going to dominate men in elections.
According to latest data released by the district administration, while men form 9,64,035 voters in the voters list, women number stand at 9,85,029 out of the total 19,49,064 voters.
If not in all, at least in seven Assembly constituencies they are higher than the men. Those are Siddipet (Men- 85,499, Women- 88,696), Medak (M-94,984, W- 1,01,967), Narayanakhed (M-84,934, W-86,807), Andol (M-1,09,373, W-1,13,491), Dubbak (M-87,430, W-91,812) and Gajwel (M- 1,01,429, W- 1,03,774).
Male voters domination was only in three constituencies – Zaheerabad (M-1,07,932, W-1,06,895), Sangareddy (M-90,979, W-90,323) and Patancheru (M-1,11,810 and Women 1,06,567). Referring to these figures a politician commented, “already Major Industries Minister J. Geetha Reddy is dominating the district political scene. This will be an added advantage to women politicians.”
