Four killed in two accidents

Gulbarga: Four persons were killed in two separate accidents in Gulbarga district. According to sources, 14-year-old Dasarath was washing his cattle in the Allapur tank in Chincholi taluk on Thursday when he slipped and drowned in the tank. His father, Revanasiddappa, jumped into the tank to save him but his head hit a boulder and he died on the spot.

In another incident at Udagi village in Sedam taluk, on Wednesday night, Siddamma (22) and her husband Peerappa Hanumanth (25) suffered burn injuries when their hut caught fire. Siddamma died in Government Hospital in Gulbarga and Peerappa Hanumanth died at Hospital in Miraj on Thursday.
