Army recruitment rally begins

Physical fitness test will be held in Coimbatore


SALEM: The Indian Army is conducting a recruitment rally for the Soldier Technical category at Coimbatore from March 5.

Candidates from Namakkal, Krishnagiri and Dindigul districts can attend the rally onl March 7.

They should report to the Army Recruiting Office premises at 6 a.m. for pre height check, documents check, physical measurement test and issue of admit card., a press release here has said

Persons aged between 17 years and 6 months and 23 years are eligible to attend the rally.

They should have completed Plus-Two with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

The common entrance examination for the successful candidates will be held on March 29 at Nehru Stadium, the release said.

The physical fitness test would be conducted in police recruiting school ground in Coimbatore from April 8 to 10. Candidates should bring in original educational certificates, the release said.
