105-acre HMDA complex at Miyapur
HMDA decides to go in for joint development model under public private partnership mode
HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has proposed to come up with a residential complex complete with commercial and recreation activities spread over 105 acre site at Miyapur.
For the purpose, the authority has decided to go in for joint development model basis under public private partnership mode.
Expression of interest-cum-request for qualification were called for before the election code of conduct came into force and those awarded the project will have to design, develop, construct, finance, operate and maintain the complex.
Apart from this, the private developer will also have to share the built-up area with the HMDA and market its portion of built-up area.
For the project to be located at Miyapur in Survey No.20, will have the HMDA retaining the un-built area reserved for open spaces, common and commercial facilities and will be free to deal with them.
A two-stage process for selection of the preferred developer would be taken up and the same is to be qualification stage and then proposal stage to be evaluated on the basis of technical and other submissions related to the project.
