Shift Satyambabu to NIMS: court
The Mahila Sessions Court on Thursday asked the Superintendent of Central Prison, Hyderabad, to shift P. Satyambabu, accused in the murder of Pharmacy student Ayesha Meera, to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) for better treatment.
Satyambabu was undergoing treatment at the Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad and his mother Mariyamma filed two petitions in the local court seeking better treatment for him. Responding to the petition, Judge V. Appa Rao asked the prison officials to conduct health check on Satyambabu to know whether there was any slow poisoning on him, as suspected by the petitioner.
