RTC training college principal in ACB net
HYDERABAD: Principal of Kakuturu APSRTC Zonal Training College P.R. Venkateshwarlu Naik, in Nellore district, was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Friday after they ‘caught’ him accepting a bribe of Rs.3,000. He had demanded the amount from the complainant for returning the original SSC, ITI and caste certificates, a press release issued by ACB here on Saturday said.
The officials recovered the tainted amount from Naik.
Conviction
The AP High Court has confirmed the conviction and sentence imposed by the Trial Court on L. Tirupathaiah, former junior assistant in Narasaraopet Revenue Divisional Office, Guntur district.
A press release issued by ACB here on March 7 said he was convicted/sentenced for offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
