Bangalore: The Royal Challengers Bangalore think-tank persisted with practice matches at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Sunday as a slew of players were mixed and matched in different combinations and put through various situations. Coach Ray Jennings kept a close watch and the team’s CEO Brijesh Patel was also present along with the talent scouts who had roped in a clutch of outstation players for these trials. A computer analyst busy noting down the details as well as the presence of camera crews that recorded the proceedings hinted at the serious nature of the performance-appraisal that the RCB staff have put into practice for the Indian Premier League’s second season. A flood lit match was held later in the night and one more game will be held on Monday morning before the squad is finalised on Tuesday.
