Reception for Resul Pookutty

Kozhikode: Oscar-winner Resul Pookutty will be accorded a reception under the aegis of the Kozhikode Corporationhere on March 12.

At a news conference here on Monday, Mayor M. Bhaskaran, Deputy Mayor P.T. Abdul Latheef and A. Pradeepkumar, MLA, said Pookutty would be taken in a vehicle procession from the Calicut airport to the Kozhikode Guesthouse on his arrival at 12.30 p.m. He will be felicitated by Sukumar Azhikode at a function at 6 p.m. The Mayor will present him with a souvenir; film producer P.V. Gangadharan ‘ponnada’ and writer U.A. Khader, citation. — Staff Reporter
