Applications invited for free education scheme

COIMBATORE: Applications are invited for admission under the free education scheme of Bharathiar University. It is applicable to students studying in the postgraduate degree courses of the university departments.

According to a university release, merit-cum-economic status will be the main criterion for the selection of students. Those already availing themselves of scholarship under the free seat category are not eligible to apply.

Last date for receipt of filled-in application is March 23.

A separate counselling will be conducted to select eligible students.
