SALEM: A marine engineer was killed in a road accident in Yercaud ghat road here on Tuesday. The police said Praveen Raj (27) of Vennanthur in Namakkal district, working as marine engineer, was returning home on a motorcycle after visiting Yercaud. He lost controof the vehicle while negotiating a hairpin bend near the 40-feet bridge and fell on the road. He died on the spot.
