SANGAREDDY: As the exercise on allocation of seats to the partners in the grand alliance is yet to come to a conclusion, the fate of TDP senior leader Babu Mohan hangs in balance. Babu Mohan has been aspiring for a party ticket from Andole Assembly constituency, which he represented earlier. Currently this is being represented by Minister for Secondary Education Damodar Rajanarasimha. Before the formation of the grand alliance, Babu Mohan has started working in the constituency preparing himself to contest the elections. Ch. Kranti Kiran, a Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency member and former journalist, who joined the TRS resigning from the ruling Congress party, also started working in the constituency. He also made efforts to rope in some of the Congress leaders to his side. Now that TDP and TRS becoming partners in the grand alliance, both these leaders were making all out efforts at their respective party leaderships to get party nomination. On Tuesday, Kranti Kiran along with some journalists met TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad urging to allot Andol seat for him. He told some media friends at Sangareddy that Rao has assured to allot ticket for him. However, TDP leaders were mum over the development. When tried to contact Babumohan, his cell was switched off.
