Kakinada: The CPI (ML) Liberation State committee has announced the names of contestants for two Parliament seats and 18 Assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh here on Friday. The candidates are B. Bangar Raju and K. Gayathri Devi for Kakinada and Anantapur Parliamentary constituencies. ContestantsThe contestants for Assembly constituencies in East Godavari district are: B. Viplav Kumar (Tuni), P. Chandram (Pithapuram), K. Ratna Kumari (Kakinada City), T. China Rajulu (Kakinada Rural), K. Ramalingeswara Rao (Jaggampeta) and Y. Arjun Rao (Prathipadu). Other candidates are: B. Gangadhar (Mudhole), R. Veera Swamy (Aswaraopeta), M. Rama Rao (Palasa), V. Peraiah (Madugula), V. Gangaraju (Polavaram), Ch. Babu Rao (Nuziveedu), M. Prabhakar (Tiruvuru), K. Siva Sankar (Kurnool), N. Nagendrudu (Nandikotkuru), C.K.V. Siva Reddy (Anantapur Town), D. Rama Murthy (Singanamala) and T.S. Vali (Rapthadu). Announcing those names at a media conference here, CPI (ML) Liberation State secretary N. Murthy said his party was campaigning against the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance and National Democratic Alliance which is headed by BJP, because the policies adopted by both of them were anti-people and detrimental to democracy.
