Israel bid to tap internal security market

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: In the wake of the Mumbai and Lahore terror attacks, Israel, for the first time, will openly discuss issues relating to internal security with India. The meeting under the aegis of the first India-Israel Homeland Security (HLS) Cooperation Forum seeks to enhance the business relations between the two countries. While Israel has been participating in international defence expositions organised here, it has been wary of direct public interaction between its company representatives and security officials.

Homeland security companies from Israel, all specialists in the areas of technologies, consulting and security services, will participate in the forum.
