Nedumbassery: A fire broke out on the premises of the airport on Friday morning. The fire was noticed in a compound with full of dried grass lying between the BPCL fuel station and the railway track around 10 a.m. and it soon spread to the surrounding area. Fire units from the airport, Angamali and Aluva doused the flames after four hours. No casualties were reported in the incident.
