Doctor wins two gold medals

Kakinada: B. Sudha, who did her Master of Surgery in ENT from the Government General Hospital (GGH), Kakinada, won two gold medals for her academic excellence in the year 2007.

Dr. Sudha received the medals from NTR University of Health Sciences Vice-Chancellor A.V. Krishnam Raju and noted cardiologist K.K. Talwar at the 30th convocation of NTRUHS in Vijayawada on Friday, an official release said.

Dr. Sudha was presented the Dr. Tilak Memorial Gold Medal and the Venkata Ramachandracharyulu Memorial Gold Medal for Best Woman Student.

GGH Superintendent M.B.R. Sarma, Rangaraya Medical College principal R. Pratap, and Head of Department of ENT at GGH S.V. Ramana congratulated Dr. Sudha in a function on Saturday.
