Jewellery show begins

STYLE AND VALUE: A model exhibits jewellery at South India Jewellery Show in Bangalore on Saturday.

BANGALORE: South India’s “premier jewellery event” is back with the third edition of the South India Jewellery Show (SIJS) 2009, which was inaugurated at Hotel Lalit Ashok on Saturday.

Featuring over 100 participants from Mumbai, Jaipur, Coimbatore, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangkok, the trade exhibition will showcase products across various categories to trade visitors from across South India, and expects to attract 5,000 trade visitors.

It is organised by The Art of Jewellery, a leading jewellery magazine, the World Gold Council and supported by the All India Gem and Jewellery Trade Federation. The show is on till March 16. For further details, call 9980982034.
