MADURAI: The District Collector, P. Seetharaman, on Saturday inspected 60 polling booths in the city to find out if they had drinking water and power facilities, besides adequate space as per specifications of the Election Commission. According to an official press release, the Collector also inspected Tallakulam, K. K. Nagar, Anna Nagar, Keeraithurai, Subramaniapuram, Anuppanadi and Narimedu areas to find out if unauthorised wall writings and banners had been removed.
