Nominations invited

SALEM: The Department of Labour has invited nominations for the Good Industrial Relations Award from various industrial units and trade unions in the district.

The State government established the award to promote better relationship between the employees and employers.

The winners of the award would be presented with a shield, cash prize and certificate. The application forms can be obtained from all the labour department offices in the district. The trade unions should pay a registration fee of Rs. 100 and employers Rs. 250. The forms should be submitted to the Secretary, Special Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Good Industrial Relations Awards Committee, Teynampet, Chennai 6. More information can be obtained from the labour offices.
