CHENNAI: Adani Wilmar Limited (AWL), an edible oil manufacturer, is all set to revamp its existing brands and launch a new range of products. Adani Wilmar, a joint venture between the Adani Group and the Singapore-based Wilmar International, commissioned the first port-based refinery at Mundra in 1999. AWL entered the branded packaged edible oil business with the launch of ‘Fortune’ in 2000. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Pranav Adani, Managing Director, AWL, said the company had production infrastructure across the country with a crushing capacity of over 6,000 tonnes per day (tpd) and refining capacity of over 5,000 tpd. To cater to the large section of middle-class, the company had introduced King’s range of refined oils.
