Killed in accident

Tirupur: Kamalam, wife of Marimuthu, who was riding pillion on a motorcycle was killed at Udumlapet on Thursday evening.

Police said she sustained injuries after the bike she was travelling was hit by another bike at Saravana Street.

She succumbed while being taken to a hospital.

Police have registered a case in this connection and are investigating.
