Endosulfan: woman dead

Kasaragod: Yet another person fell prey to the suspected ill-effects of Endosulfan spraying in the district, with a 44-year-old woman succumbing to illness. Kusuma, mother of two children, who had been undergoing prolonged treatment, died at her Pedre residence, near Badiyadukka, on Friday.

Kusuma’s family was staying close to the State government-owned Cashew Plantation Corporation land at Pedre. — PTI
