Staff Reporter
ADILABAD: A strange case of inmates of a private residential school being forcibly tonsured by their teachers came to light on Saturday at CCC Naspur coalmine locality under Mancherial police Sub Division in Adilabad district. The police have registered a case against Muniruddin, the principal of the school and A. Ravi Kumar, a mathematics teacher cum warden as they stand accused of the charge.
The incident, wherein 37 inmates of the hostel were tonsured had occurred about 20 days back. The students had been punished for allegedly mocking the warden after he was seen with his head tonsured.
