Letters to the Editor
It is unfortunate that secular parties are parting ways in Bihar. The Congress has still not learnt the lessons from the past, and it should know that with its present strength in Bihar it cannot win even one seat. At a time when secular parties must come together to defeat communal forces, the country will not forgive any mistake made by the Congress. K.P. Aswath, Mysore The Congress should reconsider its move before it boomerangs on it at the hustings. Sonia Gandhi should not be misguided by disgruntled elements in the regional parties. K. Nehru Patnaik, Visakhapatnam It is better for both the Congress and the BJP to go it alone in this election so as to give a fitting reply to the regional and smaller parties. This will facilitate the consolidation of the two-party system. Sravana Ramachandran, Udhagamandalam
