Badwar and Murthy claim honours

KOCHI: Captain Badwar won the Oriental Insurance Golf Cup at the Naval Golf Club, Willingdon Island, on Sunday evening.

Badwar won the handicap 6-9 event, while Cmde Murthy topped the handicap 10-14 section.

Dr. Israel K. Mani, Deputy General Manager and Regional In-charge, Oriental Insurance, gave away the prizes.

Final placings:

Handicap 6-9: 1. Captain Badwar (-7), 2. Cdr Sony (-6).

Handicap 10-14: 1. Cmde Murthy (-1), 2. Col. Rawat (-2). — Principal Correspondent
