Two Bihar Ministers quit

Patna: In a poll-eve blow to ruling JD (U) in Bihar, two senior party Ministers in the Nitish Kumar Government resigned on Sunday.

While Bihar Minister for Agriculture Nagmani resigned from the Cabinet after being denied a ticket from Ujiarpur Lok Sabha constituency, Nitish Mishra, Minister for Disaster Management, quit the government citing departmental problems.

“I am extremely hurt and betrayed by the JD(U) leadership for not keeping its promise to give me a ticket from Ujiarpur. It is an approach which will prove disastrous for the party in Bihar,” Nagmani told PTI.
