Land for ICAI

Special Correspondent

BANGALORE: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has been provided a 10-acre plot on Bangalore-Mangalore Highway by the State Government.

The institute will establish a centre of excellence on the land, ICAI president Uttam Prakash Agarwal said here on Saturday.

“There is nothing on record against any member in the ongoing investigation of the Satyam affair,” Mr. Agarwal said. In addition to its disciplinary committee, ICAI may soon have a Serious Fraud Detecting Cell.
