SCR to run special trains

The South Central Railway (SCR) has introduced two special trains between Vijayawada-Akola-Vijayawada to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season. Train No. 0723 Akola-Vijayawada special will depart Akola on every Tuesday and Saturday at 7.30 p.m. on April 14, 18, 21, 25 and 28, and May 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30, and June 2, 6, 9, and 13. These trains arrive in Secunderabad at 6.30 a.m and depart at 7 a.m. and arrive in Vijayawada at 12.30 p.m. on the next day.

Train No. 0724 Vijayawada-Akola special will depart Vijayawada on every Wednesday and Sunday at 5 p.m. on April 15, 19, 22, 26 and 29, and May 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27, 31, and June 3, 7, 10 and 14. The trains arrive in Secunderabad at 10.30 p.m. and depart at 10.50 p.m. and arrive at Akola at 9.45 a.m. on the next day. The train consists of AC-2 tier, AC-3tier, sleeper class coaches, general second class coaches, second class luggage cum brake vans.
