BJP likely to field BJYM State president

Special Correspondent

TIRUPATI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in all likelihood will be fielding the State president of the BJYM, G. Bhanuprakash Reddy for the prestigious Tirupati Assembly seat.

If it materialised, he will be crossing sword with three formidable rivals—Chiranjeevi who has almost announced his candidature from Tirupati, B. Karunakar Reddy, former TTD Trust Board Chairman who is the Congress nominee and K. Sankar Reddy’s, Chandrababu ’s buddy and former Tirupati Municipal Chairperson.

Bhanuprakash Reddy, a B. Tech graduate has grown from strength to strength in the BJYM and is a close follower of the party veteran, M. Venkaiah Naidu. He was also the lone BJP Councillor in the last Tirupati Municipal Council.
