Masking the faces?

Bangalore: Jayanagar-based Event House this time has again come out with paper masks of several political leaders — right from local to national level.

Its Managing Director Beluru Raghavendra Shetty told The Hindu that the Congress has placed orders for Sonia Gandhi masks and the Bharatiya Janata Party for masks of L.K. Advani and Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa masks.

“Production of masks is not our main business. Keeping Election Commission’s clampdown on poll expenditure in mind, we don’t supply more than 2,000 masks at a time to a party,” he added.
