TIRUCHI: The Institute of Entrepreneurship and Career Development (IECD) of Bharathidasan University will conduct special summer courses for students, youths and housewives during vacation. It will conduct courses on animation basics, web design, basic computer operations, tally-09, DTP; C, C++, computer hardware and networking, guitar, keyboard and refrigeration and AC maintenance, spoken English, and mobile phone servicing. IECD will offer 50 per cent scholarship for the SC and ST candidates, 25 per cent scholarship for MBC and BC candidates, 100 per cent scholarship for the differently-abled candidates in the course fee, according to Director K. Parthasarathy. On weekdaysThe courses will be conducted during week days from April 3. Admissions will be open from March 20. Interested candidates can register on all week days from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. before March 30 by bringing educational and school certificate and disability certificate. The candidates can collect applications and prospectus by submitting Rs. 50 demand draft drawn from any nationalised bank in favour of the Director, IECD, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchi – 23.
