VISAKHAPATNAM: A programme is being organised for the school children at the Department of Geo-engineering of Andhra University College of Engineering from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 28 to explain to them the space activities like Chandrayan, etc. This programme is being organised as part of the two-day workshop on familiarisation of remote sensing and geographical information system techniques for natural resources and environment management, to be held on March 28 and 29, for engineers, scientists and un-employed, convenor P. Jagadeeswara Rao informed. School managements have been requested to bring their children to the department and centre for remote sensing on March 28. Candidates have to enrol themselves on or before March 26.
