HOSUR: Lions Club of Hosur SIPCOT donated footwear to 109 tribal school students at the Nooruondhu Samy malai, 72 km from Hosur.The hamlet does not have a pucca road. The school authorities requested the club to donate rice to these poor children. They said that the children get only ragi. The club members promised to provide rice.

V. Gnanasekaran, secretary of the club, said that the club would strive to reach students living in remote tribal hamlets.
