Bangalore: The schedule for recruitment in Karnataka to the post of soldier in the Indian Army has been announced for the next four months. The recruitment cycle, which has been sent to all the State and district authorities, begins at Haveri on May 4 and ends on May 9. The Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Belgaum will conduct the rally and will cover the districts of Belgaum, Dharwad, Bidar, Koppal, Raichur, Gadag, Haveri, Gulbarga, Bijapur, Bellary and Bagalkot. ARO Mangalore will conduct the rally between June 23 and June 29 at Shimoga and will include the districts of Uttar Kannada, Shimoga, Udupi, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu, Davangere and Chitradurga and the first candidates of the academic year 2008-2009 of Belgaum, Bijapur, Gulbarga, Koppal and Gadag, as they would have received their examination results only by end of May. The rally will end at Mysore. It will be conducted by RO HQ Bangalore between July 2 and July 8, for candidates from Kolar, Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Mandya, Tumkur, Mysore, Chamarajanagar, Ramanagara and Chickaballapur, as well as for fresh candidates of the academic year 2008-2009 of Raichur, Dharwad, Bellary, Bagalkot, Bidar and Haveri.
