45 lakh seized during vehicle checks

ADILABAD: Adilabad district police seized Rs. 45 lakh in cash during vehicles checks at three locations on March 26 and 27. On the intervening night of Wednesday-Thursday, police seized Rs. 10 lakh from two persons at Beedrelli check post of Basar mandal and about Rs. 27 lakh from different persons at the check point near Jannaram police station. On Friday, police seized about Rs. 8 lakh from a person at a check point near old Utnoor.
